Our son has worked with Mary with Alpine Square for 2 ½ years, both as a job coach and as a mentor.
They have developed a great relationship and we, as parents, have seen a lot of growth in our son in that time. His self-confidence has improved significantly, and his path towards independence is looking brighter. She took a lot off our plate, helping him with classes, social skills and especially job applications and interviews. He is now 2 months into a full-time job that he likes (for the first time in his life).

Our young adult daughter transitioned back to Denver from a program out of state and was quickly connected to local supports, was enrolled in college classes, and then successfully gained employment within 6 months. Mary at Alpine Square worked steadfastly with her, even though our daughter resisted accepting supports initially.
Mary has strongly advocated for our daughter, and has gone above and beyond our expectations in dedicating her time to helping our daughter with creating a schedule, securing employment and academic supports, completing applications, and has even provided transportation support.

I first met Mary when we work together supporting the IDD community through a local agency. Mary is not just my colleague and professional mentor, she became a dear friend. Mary helped me get a position within a large hospital system in the area I chose to live with my partner. I have been working with the hospital for over 10 months now. Before Mary and I started working together I did not think that I would ever be making this much money. I have relinquished my SSDI benefits and am confident that I can support myself with my full time career with outstanding benefits, including a generous pension and retirement savings programs.
